As part of the Mackay Chamber Music Festival's commitment to regional education, Hannan Mason Foundation proudly presents this FREE Schools' Concert, performed by Ensemble Q and Ed Le Brocq. 

This concert brings an exciting and interactive experience to students from across the Isaac region, hosted by storyteller, radio broadcaster and presenter Ed Le Brocq. Designed especially for young audiences, this engaging performance introduces the instruments of the ensemble and explores how music can tell stories, spark imagination, and connect people. Through a mix of live performance, conversation, and humour, students will discover how composers—from Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart to today’s Australian voices—bring music to life.

With plenty of energy, insight, and opportunities to listen in new ways, this is a chance for students to experience world-class musicians up close and gain a deeper appreciation for live music.
